It’s clear that tech and women are a winning combination. As Google’s director of Devices & Service Partnerships, Sonia Wadhawan, said: “Consumer technology is a great place for women to make decisions on how technology shapes our future, which is a tremendous opportunity and responsibility.” This industry, contrary to long-held beliefs that it is a man’s sphere, has come a long way from its early days. Its generally fast pace is drawing women from all ranks and areas of society. And its appeal is equal to, and even perhaps beyond, what it is for men. Yes, there is the excitement and the challenges that call to both men and women, but there is also the joy of making a mark in a field that whose relevance to the health and safety of society is even more alluring in this pandemic period.
Congratulations to our honorees – and we hope you enjoy reading their insights. And, with the Fall and Winter seasons upon us, we wish you good health…
